About This Project

Unique design-build contracting strategy with early pricing alignment and agreed-upon fixed-cost components prior to receiving final design.

  • Worked closely with our engineering partner to accelerate engineering/construction milestone dates through proper planning and constructability reviews
  • Excavated & backfilled over 25,000 cu yds of soil during winter months
  • Installed concrete equipment foundations totaling 1,800 cu yds with an average foundation pour size of 150 cu yds
  • Set over 56 pieces of process equipment involving extensive rigging and lift plans
  • 34,000 safe work hours

As the facility startup date did not allow for a typical design, procure and construction strategy, selecting Trade’s early involvement was essential to the success of the project. From the beginning, Trade’s experienced team was able to properly plan and offer assurance to a smooth and successful project completion.
