Trade Opens A New Office

We kicked off the year with a significant milestone — opening the doors to our brand new office just outside of Baton Rouge in the City of Central. The team celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house, welcoming clients, partners, and friends to view the new space. We’re excited for what’s ahead and proud of the foundation we’re continuing to build.

Expanded HVAC Storage at Port Allen Facility

Our Port Allen facility got an upgrade, doubling in size from 10,000 to 20,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage. These improvements allow us to protect materials more effectively and deliver them to job sites precisely when needed.

Celebrating David Ashford’s Retirement

After more than 14 years with Trade, David ‘Bones’ Ashford has retired. Known for his hard work and loyalty as a combo welder with our Strain Road group, Bones has left a lasting impact on everyone he worked with. We’re grateful for his dedication and wish him all the best in his next chapter.

A Milestone to Casey Perry

A Milestone for Casey Perry – Casey joined Trade in 1995 at our original shop, starting out in Cut-out. He quickly rose to become a Class-A Pipe Fitter, working both in the shop and field. By 1999, he shifted fully to field work and was promoted to Foreman, then Field Supervisor—a role he held for 15 years. In 2015, he became General Superintendent of Construction, overseeing all job sites and personnel. Since 2019, Casey has served as a Project Manager, bringing 30 years of experience and leadership to every project.

Summer Internship Program

We welcomed a great group of interns this summer from colleges across Louisiana. After kicking things off with a welcome breakfast and orientation, they hit the ground running, getting hands-on experience across departments and learning the ropes from the Trade team. We’re glad to have them on board!

Annual Family Day

This year’s Trade Family Day was one for the books. With a crawfish boil, door prizes, and plenty of fun for the kids, it was a great day spent with great people. Thanks to everyone who came out!
